| . .The reason Pangaea is false.. You can take the pictures (continents) from a round globe and put them on a flat surface..we call that a map. The thing you can not do is take the flat pictures and slide them together. If they do go together , you must put them back as a round object. When you do that it forms a smaller diameter. Pangaea (the continental drift theory) take a look at the maps below . Some believe there was an island on a big world and that the continents drift apart slowly (over millions of years ) and one at a time. The theory also proposes that the Atlantic ocean is newer and getting larger as the Pacific is older and getting smaller. It just does not work . Hopefully you were able to see the pictures or videos of the expanding earth and you noticed that all the continents move apart at the same time. In the drift theory there is no prof of a force to make them slide left to right .Also India has never left the continent of Asia, yet they have it driving across an ocean ? If Pangaea never happened , where are they getting the dates of millions of years ago ? The simplest answer in science is often the correct one. The earth expanded. Try their expiriment...trace out the individual continents. Then place them on your flat coffee table, use your hands to slide them together to make Pangaea.
